The Dugway Star project aims to mine the highest quality geode and thunderegg specimens while minimizing our impact on the environment in which we operate. No chemicals or water are used in the extraction of the specimens, and no oils or fuels are kept on site. Operations are never conducted after dark as to not disturb the nocturnal animal routine so important in a desert environment.
